6 Months Fixed Term Contract



My client is a prestigious manufacturing organisation based in Fife. They have an excellent opportunity for an experienced L&D Training Coordinator to join them on a 6 month contract to cover maternity leave.


Responsibilities will include:



  • Schedule and execute learning events, ensuring capacity requirements are met for learning facility utilisation

  • Support the creation of metrics and analytics by conducting reviews of learning event trends, participation, student satisfaction/feedback

  • Create, publish and assign courses, curriculums and classroom events, to ensure all learning activities are recorded to support metrics, analytics and training evidence

  • Perform L&D Training System Administrator responsibilities, resolving issues/tickets raised

  • Responsible for ensuring all purchased services (training events and materials) from External Suppliers are created and approved via internal and Corporate guidelines

  • Collect, compile and report results of class attendance, evaluation and relevant training data, to ensure compliance to leading industry body standards and customer / project audit requirements

  • Effectively network and collaborate with Peers, providing guidance/support and training on L&D Training system

  • Ensure that the learning facility is marketed by producing regional communications and publishing monthly demand plans, in order to raise the level of awareness of learning facility effectiveness



To be considered for this position, candidates must have the following background and skills:



  • Solid experience of working within an L&D environment

  • Experience of working in either Manufacturing &/or Education

  • Previous experience of planning and managing training events

  • Able to plan and deliver training in a number of formats which should include online, classroom, internal and external sessions

  • Excellent administration and IT skills, ideally SharePoint and L&D Training software

  • Able to work unsupervised and plan and prioritise own workload to meet deadlines
