9 Month Maternity Cover Contract



My client is a successful Consultancy for the Construction sector based in the centre of Edinburgh, they have an excellent opportunity for a Project & Office Administrator to join them to cover maternity leave estimated to last 9 months.


Responsibilities will include:



  • Assisting Project Managers with all requests

  • Collating documents for tenders and highlight any red flags

  • Updating all project admin as required

  • Logging and setting up all job information on internal systems

  • Collating statistic and required information for feasibility reports, and assisting in constructing the report

  • Updating schedules and reports

  • Completing invoices and purchase orders, monitoring project costs

  • Maintenance of databases

  • General Administrative/office management duties typing documents, file management, setting up new projects and jobs and general day to day tasks to ensure smooth running of the office



To be considered of this position, candidates must have the following background and skills:



  • Solid administration experience which should include working in a Project/Document Control/office environment

  • Confident IT skills including MS Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, CRM and ideally ERP/Project systems

  • Excellent planning, prioritising and attention to detail skills

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
