Based: Field Based Covering North of Scotland
My client is a successful manufacturing organisation, due to continued growth they are looking for an experienced Sales & Account Manager to join them on a permanent basis.
This role will be a mixture of account management existing Customer accounts and new business generation, developing relationships in the North of Scotland.
Responsibilities will include:
- Develop relationships with existing customers to increase custom spend
- Identify and target new customers in line with business market strategy
- Provide customers with bespoke product solutions depending on their needs
- Work closely with internal departments including sales, design, planning, production and logistics
- Exceed customer expectations by working to SLA's
- Achieve individual sales targets
- Attend regular sales team meetings
To be considered for this position, candidates must have the following background and skills:
- Previous sales &/or account management experience ideally within manufacturing, supply chain, FMCG markets
- Excellent relationship building skills
- The desire to generate new business opportunities
- A proven track record in achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Confident IT skills including MS Office - Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
