How is paid holiday entitlement calculated?
Worker's statutory paid holiday entitlement is 28 days per annum for a worker working a five-day week. The entitlement for part-time workers is calculated on a pro-rata basis.
This is based on accruing holiday entitlement at 12.1% of the standard hours you work each week. For example if you work 35 hours per week you will accrue 4.23 hours per week.
Some of Escape's clients work on a 33 day holiday entitlement. You will be advised about your holiday entitlement by your consultant.

How do I request a holiday?

What are the dates of the Escape holiday year?
Your holiday year starts from the date your assignment commences.

What happens if I don't use my holiday pay before the end of my assignment?
You will receive any unused holiday entitlement pay you have accrued throughout the year in your final pay.
