Are you an experienced HEAVY MOBILE PLANT ENGINEER, looking for a new and exciting opportunity within diagnosis, planning and carrying out repairs and component replacements to the agreed timescale? Then we have a great opportunity as a FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER that will allow you to be based from home. The equipment you will be working is a full line of industry-leading construction equipment including but not limited to wheel loaders, material handlers, excavators and dozers.

Our established client has a reputable name within the repair and service throughout various industries. Through a strong and established customer base, our client is looking to bring on board a number of experienced Field Service Engineers to cover their Hampshire and Wiltshire areas.

With your engineering and mechanical experience, you will be travelling to clients as the sole technician or as part of a team to carry out duties on site.

To be an appropriate fit for this role you will need an NVQ 2/3 in plant maintenance or mechanical engineering. You will need to be able to diagnose, and plan repair schedules on your own, but will have access to senior engineers for direction.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Providing Service, repair and maintenance work, to the highest standards and a set timescale.

  • Provide detailed analysis of work carried out and indications as to what future tasks may be needed for optimal equipment functions.

  • Direct client interactions.

  • Must have a driving license showing category C1 - if you passed your driving test after 1st Jan 1997 you would not automatically have this included. If you have passed more advanced driving tests such as LGV/HGV and certain tests within the armed forces - you may be covered.

This Field Service role will be home-based and provide you with your own vehicle and tools. You will be delegated to your jobs from the control team.

Apply today for this exciting role and we'll contact you without delay to discuss it in more detail.
