Engineering Team Leader required to lead a small maintenance team in a fast paced manufacturing environment for a market leading company based in the Motherwell area. This position is based on a dayshift and is a Monday - Friday position.


The Role:



  • Provide engineering advice and coaching where necessary.

  • Manage and/or participate in manufacturing improvement project teams

  • Lead a small team of engineers within proactive and reactive maintenance in a fast paced manufacturing environment

  • Schedule, collate and generate data (trend graphs) on a monthly basis of all site plant from a condition monitoring viewpoint, highlighting pre-fail components

  • This is a hands on role within the engineering function


The Candidate:



  • Must be a good communicator

  • Detailed engineering knowledge of all aspects of manufacturing equipment

  • Recognised apprenticeship qualification or equivalent in relevant engineering discipline

  • Understanding of the contribution Engineering can make to the achievement of Manufacturing KPIs

  • Manufacturing background required

  • Must be or have been a multiskilled engineer with hands on experience within manufacturing
