Engineering Manager required to build your own engineering team within this fast paced manufacturing environment for a growing business based within commutable distance from Falkirk, Livingston, Glasgow & southern Fife areas. This exciting opportunity is based on a dayshift position for this FMCG site.


The Role:



  • Provide engineering advice and coaching where necessary.

  • Manage and optimise existing production machinery or facility availability and efficiency with the framework of a total predictive, preventative and curative maintenance programs

  • Initiates, implements, documents and manages the site maintenance program based on best practices in the industry




  • The candidate:

  • Detailed engineering knowledge of all aspects of manufacturing equipment

  • Recognised apprenticeship qualification/degree or equivalent in relevant engineering discipline

  • Understanding of the contribution Engineering can make to the achievement of Manufacturing KPIs

  • Manufacturing experience is essential for this role

  • This role will be a hands on position
