My client is currently recruiting for a Payroll Advisor to join their team based in West Lothian. This role is open to WFH 2 days per week after an initial training period.

Responsibilities will include the following tasks:

  • Monthly payroll inputs and updates of all overtime, shift allowance and general data input

  • All general payroll maintenance

  • Completion of HMRC and related government documents

  • Collating and distributing payroll reports

  • Auditing all phased return to work associates to ensure accurate data implemented

  • Prepare Monthly payroll journal, to be completed by month end for Accounts Department

  • End of tax year balance through RTI, PI IDs and P60.

  • Directors' remuneration

  • Administration of all Auto Enrolment

  • Responsible for helpdesk support for all payroll queries

To be considered for this position the following general skills are going to be essential:

  • Solid experience within a similar role such as Payroll Advisor, Payroll Assistant, Payroll/Pension Advisor

  • Advanced IT Skills in particular MS Office Excel

  • Excellent communication skills verbal and written

  • Highly numerate with an eye for detail
