Our client, a manufacturer based in Cumbernauld, are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic individual to join their team as a Production Administrator, reporting into the Assistant Production Manager. The purpose of this role is to manage the workshop production schedule in line with orders, forecasts, data analysis and stock control.


Responsibilities will include:



  • Raising, issuing and uploading orders onto system

  • Ordering of parts and arranging parts transfers

  • Liaising regularly with internal/external suppliers regarding all incoming shipments and updating information on the system

  • Making any amendments to customer orders and updating on the system

  • Matching incoming orders to stock and allocating parts to specific orders

  • Liaising with all internal departments to report any incidents regarding orders

  • Raising purchase orders for raw material and updating system with any changes to supplier delivery dates etc.

  • Running stock reports and analysing data for any shortages reporting this information to the relevant people

  • Maintaining and updating supplier forecast spreadsheet

  • Regular checks of the supplier shipping schedules and highlighting any delays to Assistant Production Manager

  • Ensuring stock availability for bulk order requests from customers


To be considered for this position, candidates must have the following skills and background:



  • Solid administration experience in a similar role i.e. Logistics Coordinator, Warehouse Administrator

  • Excellent IT skills, experience in MS office packages - specifically MS Excel

  • High standard of customer service skills

  • Ability to prioritise, problem solve and manage own workload on a day to day basis
