Our client, a successful company based in Fife, is currently looking to recruit an experienced individual to join their team as a Sales Administrator.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Communicate with key customers to gain an understanding of their order requirements, by telephone and face to face meetings

  • Work closely with the internal teams to ensure and changed to orders are communicated effectively and the impact understood

  • Create and track analysis on missed volume and potential sales

  • Creating forecasts based on historical and future sales trends, promotional activity and new product introduction

  • Utilise Excel to interrogate and manipulate data

  • Review, identify and resolve key forecast accuracy issues

  • Attend daily operation meetings and update the key stakeholders on accuracy of orders to forecast.

  • Maintain forecasts, sales orders and customer pricing on our ERP system.

  • Manage forecasting for seasonal events and changes.

To be considered for this position, candidates must have the following skills and background:

  • Previous experience in a similar role i.e. Sales Administrator, Sales Coordinator, Supply Chain Administrator

  • Advanced Excel skills and good knowledge of Outlook, Word, PowerPoint

  • Strong analytical skills including data analysis in Excel and creating reports

  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise own workload

  • Effective communication skills both oral and written

  • Customer focused with the ability to adapt operating style to deliver high class customer service

  • Problem solving skills with the ability to handle customer service complaints effectively
