6 Month Temporary Contract (Possible Extension)


My client is a successful organisation based in Edinburgh that continue to enjoy growth and market development. You will be based predominantly remotely although there will be an expectation to have presence on site in the coming months for 1-2 days per week, where necessary.


Responsibilities include:



  • Actively source for a variety of levels of talent using appropriate tools including inhouse database, LinkedIn, online portals etc.

  • Develop strong partnerships with external Suppliers and Agencies.

  • Work closely with Line Managers to provide advice and coaching throughout the recruitment process.

  • Coordinate with Line Mangers and HR team to devise job descriptions and person specifications.

  • Drive process improvement that ensures processes are set-up most effectively to deliver the most value to hiring managers and candidates.

  • Ensure candidates receive excellent experiences throughout the recruitment process.

  • Provide candidates with feedback and manage expectations throughout.

  • Partner with HR team to ensure seamless new hire on-boarding experience.

  • Provide expertise on external recruiting policies, practices and trends.

  • Monitor and maintain recruitment financial budgets.



To be considered for this position, candidates must have the following background and skills:



  • Solid experience of working in a similar Talent Acquisition/Internal Recruitment position.

  • Experience of working in a hands on, operational resourcing role.

  • Ideally you will have experience of working in a high volume, fast paced environment.

  • Strong IT skills including MS Office, CRM/ERP/HR databases and online resourcing and social media platforms.

  • Confident, proactive and results-driven.

  • Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Knowledgeable of applicable employment laws and compliance requirements.
