Job Title: Temporary Internal Sales Advisor

Salary: £12.00 - £12.53 per hour

Location: Linwood

Job Description: We are currently seeking a proactive and organised Temporary Internal Sales Advisor for one of our clients based in Linwood.

As an Internal Sales Advisor, you will play a crucial role in supporting the sales team by ensuring efficient coordination and administration of sales-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Order Processing: Process sales orders accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring all details are recorded correctly and coordinating with relevant departments to fulfil orders promptly.
  2. Customer Support: Provide exceptional customer service to clients by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining a positive and professional relationship with customers.
  3. Sales Documentation: Prepare and maintain sales-related documentation, including invoices, purchase orders, shipping documents, and sales reports.
  4. Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the inventory team to ensure products are adequately stocked to meet customer demands.
  5. Sales Team Assistance: Assist the sales team with any administrative tasks, such as preparing sales presentations, compiling data for sales analysis, and coordinating meetings with clients.
  6. Sales Reporting: Generate regular sales reports and assist in analysing data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  7. Sales Support: Work closely with the sales representatives to provide any necessary support, update them on order statuses, and help resolve customer issues.
  8. Maintain Records: Keep accurate and up-to-date records of sales transactions, customer interactions, and any relevant information in the company's database.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a sales support or administrative role is advantageous.
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
  • Proficient in using MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Quick learner with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Knowledge of inventory management systems is a plus.

This is a temporary position, and the successful candidate will be expected to work closely with the sales team and provide essential support during busy periods or staff absences.
