Our not-for-profit client provides procurement solutions to support its public sector clients to deliver better buildings, homes and communities. They bring buyers and suppliers together to build, refurbish and maintain social housing and public properties.

The successful candidate will get the opportunity to join an established procurement team, work with great colleagues, build your procurement experience and knowledge and be trained in Scottish Procurement Legislation….

The Procurement Assistant will work closely with your procurement colleagues and support them with day-to-day procurement activities, organising events and anything else that needs to be done. They will liaise with Partners and Suppliers and will be responsible for maintaining procurement systems and providing support and guidance.

Experience and knowledge:

  • Experience working in a Purchasing/Procurement Team
  • Experience in using systems and databases
  • Strong communication skills and comfortable attending business meetings and events
  • Enjoys working with people and can build relationships with Partners and Suppliers
  • Team player who can roll their sleeves up to support others
  • Good work ethic and keen to progress
  • Understand the importance of delivering a First-Class procurement service
