Job Title: Multi Skilled Engineer (Electrical Bias Preferred)
Salary: £42,000
Shift: Day Shifts Only - No Weekend Work
We are seeking a time served and experienced Multi Skilled Engineer to join our FMCH clients team in a full-time, permanent role. The ideal candidate will have a strong electrical background (50/50 or electrically biased), with relevant recognised qualifications, and will be confident working across multiple disciplines.
Key Responsibilities:

Support and mentor apprentice engineers within the team.

Perform frequent line changes with assistance from fellow engineers.

Complete Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) to a high standard.

Carry out fault finding across the following systems:

Electrical
-
Mechanical
-
Pneumatics
-
Hydraulics
-
PLCs
-

Diagnose, dismantle, repair, and rebuild motors, gearboxes, and pumps.

Experience is preferred but training will be provided where necessary.

Install and commission new equipment, with most installation work carried out in-house.

Modify and improve existing plant, aiming to complete as much as possible internally.
Shift Pattern: Day Shifts Only
Working Week: 4½ days / 40 hours per week
No standard weekend shifts.
Week 1:

Monday to Thursday: 6:00 am - 3:00 pm

Friday: 6:00 am - 12:00 pm
Week 2:

Monday to Thursday: 8:30 am - 5:30 pm

Friday: 6:00 am - 12:00 pm
Flexi Friday: Every fourth Friday is scheduled off, with the extra hours worked during the other three weeks.
