Our client is looking for an experienced Production Planner to join a busy Supply Chain team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This is a hybrid role with 3 days based on-site and 2 days remote.
If you are highly organised, confident with ERP systems and have strong Excel skills, this could be a great fit.
Responsibilities of the role
- Developing and maintaining production schedules to meet demand and optimise resources
- Monitoring stock levels of raw materials, WIP and finished goods
- Coordinating materials, equipment and labour to support production activities
- Tracking production progress and resolving any issues or disruptions
- Reporting on performance and providing updates to stakeholders
- Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Collaborating with sales, purchasing, and operations to ensure smooth workflow
What we're looking for:
- Previous experience as a Production Planner within manufacturing
- Demand Planning experience would be highly advantageous
- Strong ERP system experience (essential)
- Advanced Excel skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
- Confident communicator who can work well across different teams
