Purpose
As a Security Officer, you will play a key role in safeguarding the assets, premises and personnel of, while consistently ensuring a secure and safe working environment. You will also provide a professional first impression to all staff, visitors and members of the public who come into contact with the Security Team.
Key Responsibilities

Maintain effective site security protocols to protect company assets and reduce risk

Prevent unauthorised access to the premises through vigilant monitoring and control

Ensure all visitors, contractors and hauliers follow the correct on-site procedures

Maintain and manage the Access Card System and user authorities
-
Use the CCTV system to monitor the wider site and proactively address any issues
-
Support routine and emergency activities including evacuation drills, vehicle checks, daily security audits, fire door inspections, traffic management and emergency responses
What We're Looking For

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Intermediate IT proficiency (MS Office)

Sound judgement with the ability to escalate appropriately

Flexibility with working hours

A clean driving licence is desirable but not essential

Experience within a security role.
