We are looking for a proactive and organised HR Administrator to provide comprehensive support to our HR Manager within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is central to maintaining compliance, supporting recruitment, and driving employee engagement, with a strong focus on safety training and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update HR databases to ensure accuracy.
- Support recruitment processes, including coordinating interviews and onboarding new employees.
- Prepare HR letters, reports, and documentation.
- Assist with new starter inductions and employee communications.
- Record and track absence, headcount, and other HR metrics.
- Take minutes for meetings, including disciplinary and grievance hearings.
- Organise and manage training courses, liaising with managers and providers.
- Maintain training records and send reminders for recertifications.
- Support internal communications relating to learning and development initiatives.
- Assist with employee engagement activities and wellbeing initiatives.
- Prepare data and insights for management reporting.
- Manage apprentice recruitment end-to-end.
What We're Looking For:
- Ideally you will have previous administration experience, ideally within a manufacturing environment, although candidates with relevant education history will also be considered i.e. degree in business or HR.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with an ability to work under pressure.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining compliance standards.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Positive, proactive attitude and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
