Mechanical Maintenance Engineer (Nights) - FMCG
Shift: 4 on / 4 off, 6pm-6am
Salary: £53,500
A growing FMCG business is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join its night shift team during a period of major site investment and automation.
The Role

Carry out planned and reactive mechanical maintenance on production and packaging equipment

Respond to breakdowns with effective fault-finding to minimise downtime

Complete maintenance records, root cause analysis, and parts usage via CMMS

Support the PPM programme and continuous improvement activities

Maintain high standards of food safety, H&S, and quality compliance

Work closely with production and engineering teams
About You
-
Time-served or qualified Mechanical Maintenance Engineer (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)

Manufacturing or FMCG experience desirable

Strong mechanical fault-finding skills
