Sewing Machinist
Role
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Sewing Machinist to join our garment production team. You will operate industrial and automated sewing machines to assemble garments and textile products according to production specifications, ensuring high quality and efficient workflow.
Key Responsibilities

Operate industrial sewing machines (e.g. flatbed, overlock, blanket stitch).

Follow production sheets, technical packs, or sample garments for accuracy.

Inspect materials and finished work to maintain quality standards.

Produce high-quality garments within set production times.

Handle fabrics carefully to minimise waste or damage.

Perform basic machine maintenance (threading, cleaning, oiling) and report faults.

Follow all health and safety procedures.

Work collaboratively with the team and follow supervisor instructions.

Support the design team and product engineers with garment development when required.
Schedule
Full-Time (37 hours per week)

Monday - Thursday: 7:30am - 4:30pm
-
Friday: 7:30am - 12:30pm
Overtime may be required during peak production periods.
