Production/Machine Operator
Location: Livingston
Shift Pattern: 12-hour day shift/ Nightshift rotation
Salary: £17.75ph
The Role
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Production Operator to join a busy manufacturing team. This is a hands-on role where you will play a key part in producing high-quality products in line with production schedules. The work can vary from high-volume output to more detailed, complex processes, so no two days are quite the same. This is a VERY manual role, lots of lifting and moving consistently throughout the day so you need to be very active for the role.
If you enjoy practical work, being part of a team, and taking pride in doing a job well, this could be a great fit. This is a temporary role with ongoing work available.
What You'll Be Doing
- Operating machinery and equipment in line with work instructions
- Meeting production targets set by the Section Leader
- Completing all required documentation accurately and on time
- Following safety procedures and company standards at all times
- Minimising material waste through good working practices
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site
- Assisting in training new team members where required
- Taking part in team meetings and contributing ideas
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
- Ensuring equipment is used correctly and kept in good condition

Additional Expectations
You'll be involved in a range of daily, weekly and monthly activities, including safety checks, quality processes, 5S standards, and general area health checks. Flexibility is key as duties may vary depending on production needs.
