What you'll be doing
- Mechanical assembly and fitment of components
- Working from engineering drawings and build instructions
- Using hand tools, torque equipment and measurement tools
- Supporting testing, fault finding and build quality
- Completing build documentation and quality checks
- Working as part of a close-knit production team
What we're looking for
- Background as a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic
- Open to automotive, HGV, plant, heavy engineering or similar
- Strong mechanical skills and confidence using tools
- Experience with assembly, repairs or diagnostics
- Good attention to detail and pride in your work
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills
What's on offer
- £18-£21 per hour depending on experience
- Day shift, Monday to Friday
- Permanent role with immediate start available
- Opportunity to move into a modern manufacturing environment
- Training provided into new technologies and systems
If you're looking to move away from routine servicing and into something more involved and hands-on, this is worth a conversation.
