Production Manager

An established manufacturing business is looking to appoint an experienced Production Manager to lead day-to-day production operations, develop the team and drive improvements across the manufacturing process.
This is a hands-on role for a practical and proactive manager who enjoys working in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily production activities, planning and scheduling.
- Lead and develop production personnel.
- Monitor production performance, output and efficiency.
- Implement process improvements.
- Work closely with supply chain and other departments.
- Maintain high standards of quality, safety and compliance.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support process, equipment and operational improvement projects.
The Person
You will ideally have previous experience in:
- Production Management
- Manufacturing Management
- FMCG/Food Manufacturing
- Production Planning
- Continuous Improvement
- Quality-controlled manufacturing environments
Our client is looking for someone who is hands-on, commercially aware, organised and confident leading people, with the ability to identify problems and turn them into opportunities for improvement.
Salary: Up to £45,000 depending on experience.
