Shin-Etsu has been a top employer in Livingston for over 40 years, and we're now recruiting Production Operators to join their team, with starts available throughout September and October.
These are long-term temporary positions with the potential to become permanent in future, offering full training and the chance to learn different processes and work across different manufacturing areas on site.

The shifts
You'll work a 4 on, 4 off rotating pattern:
4 days: 7am - 7pm
4 days off
4 nights: 7pm - 7am
4 days off
As the rota includes night shifts, you must be 18 or over.
What you'll be doing
You'll be trained to work across different areas of Shin-Etsu's manufacturing operation and will include:
- Operating production equipment
- Following manufacturing processes and procedures
- Checking product quality
- Handling and moving materials
- Completing production documentation
- Working safely and maintaining high standards throughout your shift
What we're looking for
We're particularly keen to hear from people with previous manufacturing or production experience.
You'll need to be reliable, comfortable working 12-hour shifts, able to stand for extended periods, and have good attention to detail.
