Based: Scottish Borders | Hybrid Working | Flexible Hours
A great opportunity, in a great location, with a company that values its people.
Looking for a role that offers a little more than the usual 9-5? How about working for an established, successful business in the beautiful Scottish Borders, with a supportive team, flexible working arrangements and a genuinely attractive benefits package?
With excellent transport links, including a direct train service to Edinburgh and the Lothians, this location could be more accessible than you think. Add hybrid working, flexibility around working hours and an early finish every Friday, and there's plenty to like!
We're looking for an organised and proactive Sales Coordinator to join a busy commercial team, providing day-to-day support to Sales Managers and helping ensure customer requirements, orders and programmes are coordinated efficiently.
This isn't a traditional sales role. There are no sales targets or new business responsibilities. Working closely with Sales Managers and colleagues across the wider business, your responsibilities will include:
• Providing day-to-day administrative and coordination support to the sales team.
• Supporting customer orders and projects, ensuring information is accurate and up to date.
• Coordinating product samples, customer submissions and associated tracking.
• Assisting with product specifications, design sign off and customer documentation.
• Maintaining sales project, records and progress updates.
• Liaising with internal departments to gather information and follow up outstanding actions.
• Supporting customer approvals, amendments and ongoing sales project updates.
• Communicating directly with customers to provide updates and help ensure requirements are met.
• Identifying missing information or potential delays and ensuring these are followed up.
What are we looking for?
You'll ideally have experience in a sales administration, sales coordination, customer service or commercial support role.
We're looking for someone who is:
• Highly organised, with good planning and prioritisation skills.
• Detail-focused and comfortable managing different tasks and deadlines.
• Confident communicating with customers and colleagues across different departments.
• Proactive, dependable and happy to take ownership of tasks.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• A good team player who takes pride in providing a reliable and professional service.
• Experience within manufacturing or supply chain commercial environment would be advantageous.
