What holidays am I entitled to?
Worker's statutory paid holiday entitlement is 28 days per annum for a worker working a five-day week. The entitlement for part-time workers is calculated on a pro-rata basis and some of our clients will provide a higher level of holidays per year. Your recruiter will advise you on your specific holiday entitlement.
For more information download our guide to calculating your holiday entitlement.
How do I request a holiday?
You can download our holiday request form and guide to requesting holidays however, please be aware, not all our clients work the same way and your recruiter will confirm the process that applies to your particular assignment.

How do I self-certificate?
For periods of sickness absence up to 7 days, PAYE temporary workers may "self-certificate" by completing and submitting the HRMC self-certification form. Sickness claims beyond 7 days must be accompanied by acceptable medical evidence. For example, a Statement of Fitness for Work or ‘fit note' from your doctor that says you ‘are not fit for work'. Get in touch with your recruiter if you require any further information.
Do I get paid if I am sick?
PAYE temporary workers may be eligible for Statutory Sick Pay (SSP) provided that you meet the relevant statutory criteria. SSP is not paid for the first three days you're off. Further information on SSP is included in your contract with Escape and available at Directgov. You can also ask your consultant or email firstname.lastname@example.org if you require any further information.
