Our prestigious client who are based in Renfrewshire, are hiring a credit controller due to internal progression. This is a full time permanent role and the hours of work are Monday-Thursday 8.30am-5pm, Friday 8.30am-4pm.

The Role 

  • Take full responsibility for the credit control function
  • Issue and send invoices to customers
  • Investigate and resolve queries
  • Manage and take responsibility for your own ledger
  • Dealing with high volume customers
  • Collection of outstanding debts by telephone and email
  • Processing and generating reminder emails
  • Reconciling customer accounts
  • Monthly aged debt reporting including input to bad debt provision calculation
  • Assist in processing supplier invoices


 The Candidate

  • Will be required to have previous experience working within a similar role
  • Have knowledge of working in a high volume, fast pace credit control environment
  • Ability to manage a ledger from start to finish
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Excellent numeracy skills
  • Accurate when working with figures
  • Organised, methodical approach to work
