Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias)
Location: Glasgow
 Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 DOE + Excellent Benefits
 Shift Pattern: 4 x 10-hour shifts (Sunday to Wednesday Nights OR Monday to Thursday Days)

Night Shift: Sunday 9pm-7am, Monday to Wednesday 7pm-5am
 - 
Day Shift: Monday to Thursday 7am-5pm
 
What You'll Do
- 
Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on a diverse range of production machinery and automated systems.
 - 
Diagnose and repair electrical faults to minimise downtime and maintain operational efficiency.
 - 
Take the lead on continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on reliability, safety, and performance.
 - 
Work collaboratively with operations and engineering teams to optimise production efficiency and identify root causes of equipment issues.
 - 
Maintain, fault-find, and repair PLC-controlled systems, drives, motors, sensors, and electrical control panels.
 - 
Support with the installation and commissioning of new machinery and site upgrades.
 - 
Ensure all maintenance work is accurately documented and compliant with site standards.
 
About You
- 
Time-served engineer with a recognised electrical qualification (HNC, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent).
 - 
You have a strong electrical bias, with sound knowledge of mechanical systems.
 - 
Confident in electrical fault-finding, interpreting schematics, and working with PLCs, drives, and control systems.
 - 
Proactive and self-motivated, with a track record of improving reliability and reducing downtime.
 - 
Thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
 - 
Previous experience in a manufacturing or automated production setting would be advantageous.
