Escape Recruitment is partnering with an established manufacturer experiencing significant growth, to recruit a hands-on Material Planner / Expeditor for their manufacturing site.
In this role, you will work closely with key suppliers to ensure materials arrive on time to support production schedules in a fast-paced Just-In-Time (JIT) environment. You will be part of the Purchasing team, keeping the production line running smoothly and efficiently.
The Role:
- Interpret MRP/ERP outputs to create, adjust and expedite purchase orders
- Be the first point of contact for operational matters with suppliers
- Resolve delays, shortages and invoice queries
- Schedule production parts to meet daily demand
- Maintain stock levels and organise materials to minimise waste
Experience and knowledge required for the role
* Experience as a Material Planner, Expeditor, or Buyer in a manufacturing/engineering environment
* ERP/MRP system experience
* Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
* Team player who can also work independently
* Positive, professional approach with excellent communication skills
