Graduate - Supply Chain

Location: Hawick
Salary: Up to £35,000 depending on experience

Ready to kick-start your career in planning and supply chain?

Are you a recent graduate with a degree in Business Management, Business Studies, Supply Chain Management or a related discipline? Are you organised, analytical and interested in how businesses plan, coordinate and deliver their operations?

We're working with a highly ambitious and growing manufacturing business looking to recruit a Graduate Production Planner to join its team in Hawick.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone at the beginning of their career who wants to develop their skills, gain hands-on experience and build a long-term career within manufacturing and supply chain.

The Opportunity

You'll join an established operational team, learning how production activities are planned, coordinated and managed to ensure customer requirements are met.

Initially, the focus will be on production planning, with the opportunity to develop into a broader supply chain position as your experience and understanding of the business grows.

Full training and support will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for a graduate looking to put their academic knowledge into practice.

What we're looking for

  • A degree in Business Management, Business Studies, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or a related subject.

  • A genuine interest in manufacturing, planning and supply chain.

  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.

  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Confident communication skills and the ability to work with different teams.

  • A proactive approach with a willingness to learn and develop.

  • Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel.

Previous production planning or manufacturing experience is not essential. We're much more interested in your potential, attitude and enthusiasm to develop a career in this area.

What's in it for you?

  • Salary of up to £35,000 depending on experience.

  • An excellent opportunity to launch your career in supply chain and manufacturing.

  • Structured training and ongoing development.

  • Exposure to production planning and wider operational activities.

  • The opportunity to progress into a broader supply chain role.

  • The chance to join a high-growth business where you can make a genuine contribution.

If you've recently graduated and are looking for an opportunity to put your degree into practice while developing a career in planning and supply chain, we'd love to hear from you.
