Procurement & Planning Lead

Escape Recruitment is supporting a growing business in the appointment of a Procurement & Planning Lead.

This is a varied position combining production planning, procurement and supplier management, offering the opportunity to take ownership of production schedules and coordinate activities across external manufacturing partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage production planning and scheduling across external manufacturing facilities.

• Coordinate production capacity, materials and packaging requirements.

• Work with suppliers to source materials, negotiate pricing and manage lead times.

• Support new product development and ensure projects are ready for production.

• Monitor production performance, stock reconciliation and material usage.

• Manage supplier relationships and resolve operational challenges.

• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality and cost performance.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in production planning, supply chain or manufacturing operations.

• Procurement and supplier negotiation experience.

• Understanding of manufacturing processes and material requirements.

• Experience managing external suppliers or manufacturing partners.

• Strong organisational and analytical skills.

• Good Excel and ERP systems experience.

• A proactive, commercially aware and solutions-focused approach.

Experience in FMCG, food, drinks or packaging would be particularly beneficial.
